Advertising and competition law (UWG)

Advice on advertising measures and competition law

What I do for you

Companies compete with each other. To ensure that this competition remains fair, competition law sets limits – especially for advertising, marketing and business communication.

Legal questions often arise, especially on the internet, in social media and in e-commerce: Which advertising statements are permissible? When is advertising misleading? Which information requirements apply to online trade?

Violations of competition law can be prosecuted by warning letters from competitors or associations.

I advise and represent companies, self-employed persons and creative people in all matters relating to competition and advertising law – both in reviewing their own marketing measures and in enforcing or defending competition law claims, as well as in matters relating to e-commerce.
